Here is my latest dollhouse. It's the Shenandoah by Dura Craft. This kit is no longer manufactured, though the construction method is somewhat straight forward. I added a store-bought door and I custom made the windows myself. It did not come with shingle so I split a bunch out of cedar. The chimney was modified to a taper to make a look more interesting. And I added a railing to the opening on the second floor. It is finished with a sealer coat of shellac and a top coat of polyurethane. Here"s some photos:
